Interested in contributing to our
research study on the human gut
Are you an individual/citizen scientist of ages between 20-70 years? Consider participating in our study while staying at home!
What is the study about?
The purpose of this research is to test the Gut CheckTM analysis kit prototype for commercialization. We hope our unique Gut CheckTM analysis kit will allow us to understand the microbial composition in the gut and foresee disease risks. The microbes within your gut include bacteria, viruses, and other microbes that play a crucial role in maintaining good health. An imbalance in diversity of bacteria in the gut can lead to short term and long term health effects.
Who can participate?
We are looking for adults of age 20-70 yrs. who can be able
to consent independently.
You can participate while staying at home! You can register and provide your consent to participate here through our website, or you can contact us with the information below and register and consent via email/phone.
Once you have registered and given your consent you will receive a stool sample collection kit with instructions, main questionnaire and feedback questionnaire at your doorstep or via email. Total time to complete the study is about an hour. You can fill in the questionnaire information and send in your sample with no costs involved and your job is done! If you have questions regarding your rights as a research participant, please contact the Health Research Ethics Authority at (709) 777-6974 or email@example.com.
